Message from Ashok Jaiswal, IIT Delhi to Jaiswal Society

TO JAISWAL SOCIETY

Here, I ,Ashok Kumar Jaiswal, doing M.Tech from IIT Delhi wants to give my views on our society.

As we know first objective of one should serve its nation. But any nation has 3 main parts- soil, people and culture. But our country has many cultures, which belong to different communities. To serve our country, these communities should be integrated. But integration can only be strengthening if and only if, each community strengthens itself.

To integrate any community, first we have to see some shortcoming, and its remedies. In my view, some following shortcomings r in our society.

1. EDUCATION- Mainly girls education. As any society cannot be moved ahead without girl education. Since only girl can give basic education to her child and also create child’s character. More ever they can contribute in development of our society. In our society even boys education is not considered much since most of our community people in business work. “One of my relative said that he could not let his girl go for higher education due to lack of educated boys”. Now u can think of status of education in our society.

Education is needed for everyone whether he is from business background or service background. In our society, many businessmen r doing their business on small scale, education may provide them to broaden their horizon. Education level should be such that every boy and girl can stand on his or her own foot.

2.DOWRY- It is curse for our society. I don’t understand this custom completely. One man takes dowry for his boy and also has to give this for his girl, which is not c

omfortable for middle class. In our society, only 2 objectives for a middle class man, first home, second (if he has daughter) to collect money for her marriage. To fulfill these objective, whole life is passed and he never think about himself and society development.

To remove this custom, all youth should come forward. If we can create example then only we can expect the same for our next generation.

Some of elder people may give argue that dowry should be there since generally girls r not given right in property. So I think why dowry, why not property? Is the dowry is given in proportional to the property and why it is given at the time of marriage. Are the girl & boy going to be married, not able to create their own world? If so, then we have to think about it.

These 2 factors r of the prime importance in my view. I think of a society in which everyone thinks about other. But at present it is not so, we have heavy competition b/w us. For this purpose some people have to come forward. We have different jaiswals group all over the country. First of all these groups should have good communication.

For the progress of any society money is the basic need. So we can create a Jaiswal trust for this in which every Jaiswal should contribute according to his strength. This trust can help needed persons in our society. We have to think about others problems and try to help them. For this purpose, all jaiswals should come under one roof.

So I want to call our generation, our respected elders for this purpose. Can we create an exemplary Jaiswal community, in which no Jaiswal needed character certificate, only name is enough.

So to fulfill this objective, a great work has been initiated, named www.jaiswals.com, created by Harish Kumar. Jaiswal, NJ, USA & Ashish Jaiswal, New Delhi, which can be good medium to connect every Jaiswal to other.

I request to all my group members to spread this message out all over the world.

THANKS
