Finally Bangalore had the first ever meet of bangalore jaiswals!
Started with brief intro of everybody, then the discussion moved
to how to get more people in the group from bangalore as they don’t
have a critical mass here to have meetings or get together.
Anshu suggested word of mouth was the best way to go for it. Use
of telephone directory http://www.bangaloretelecom.com to search
for blore jaiswals.
Next discussion was for how to control the high
volume of Jaiswal group mails. Still we all have to come up with
some solution. Overall it was great get together.
One more suggestion from Anshu was to enable good search facility
in the members database like searching member from a city, state
and country etc.. |

| Meeting with
Mumbai Jaiswal Sabha President Namrata,
Minal, Smriti met Mr Bhagwat Jaiswal (Jaiswal Youth Group Lead)
on Sunday 20th April. He gave following books on Jaiswal Samaj-
1)Dakshinanchal Jayaswal Parivaar Nirdeshika
& Sansmarika Andhra Pradesh Jayaswal Sabha - Hyderabad, 1997
The book contains the history of jaiswals.
2)Akhil Bombay Jayaswal Sabha – 2002. The book contains the
list of jaiswals throughout mumbai. |

| Weeks' Highlight |
1. Mumbai Database is loaded on the jaiswals.com
with the help of Sharad, Minal, Paddy, Namrata.
2. Minal headed to UK for a course on Fashion forecasting.
3. Blore guys had a meet @ Barista on 27th April. Details can be read
from the gettogether column.
4. Google Search for ‘jaiswal’ does not show jaiswals.com
site. Smriti and Harish are still working on it.
5. Anshu from Blore suggesting to have the search engine for the members
based on city, state, zip code etc. Still have to come up with concrete
plan.
6. Manish(Texas) visited Mumbai over the weekend. Plans to meet Blore
jaiswals next week.
7. Prashant Mahajan(Amsterdam) is coming to Mumbai this week. Plans
to meet Mumbai jaiswal gang.
8. One side people are talking about heavy volume of mails from Jaiswal
group, and the other side we see hardly any mail from some of the
Jaiswal members. There are many guys who are silently reading the
mails but not replying. Active Jaiswals are in process of waking up
the rest. |
